Youth Band

Since 2021, our youth band has been helmed by Michael Dodd.

The core of the band is made up of players from 10 to 18 years old, and has a varied repertoire consisting of solos, pop songs, original brass compositions, as well as traditional marches and hymns.

The Youth Band has a number of regular annual engagements, including the Horbury Street Fayre, Horbury Show and the Christmas Carol Service at St. Mary's Church.

Currently we have Youth band players who have been accepted into the National Childrens Band and the National Youth Band of Great Britain. We also have a player in the National RAF Cadets Concert Band. Congratulations to Will Lord, Davey Webster and Sam Dodd!
